Nestled inside the old bluestone stables that house the Proshop, you’ll find Birdy & Co. Think of it like a little slice of approachable inner-city coffee shop in the heart of Eynesbury. Inside you’ll find killer coffee, all sorts of drinks and a range of tasty food. Think toasties, pies, sandwiches, pastries and more. It’s a casual kind of place that takes its food and coffee suitably seriously.

Ms Peacock Bar & Restaurant

Eat. Drink. Chill. Ms Peacock is all about celebrating those three beautiful words. Tasty food, awesome bevvies and all in an amazing setting. It’s located in the totally reimagined Eynesbury homestead home (built from handcafted bluestone in 1872) with its impossibly high ceilings, multitude of fireplaces and memorable quirky charter. It’s where old meets contemporary meets drop-dead “you gotta see this”.

Wedding & Event Marquee

Situated in and around the historic Homestead, Eynesbury offers a choice of distinctive wedding and event spaces. Along with the dedicated marquee – nestled in the superb gardens – there are also five stately rooms in the Homestead available for corporate and other events. Eynesbury Polo Club

The Eynesbury Polo Club is set on 135 acres in the township of Eynesbury. Sporting two high-goal fields which host some of Victoria’s most anticipated Polo tournaments of the season, a practice field as well as many other state of the art facilities. Visit their website for more information.

Eynesbury Recreation Reserve

Featuring a sporting oval catering for cricket and AFL, cricket nets, tennis courts, netball courts, adventure play space, off-leash dog park and state-of-the-art pavilion, this amazing facility is available to all Eynesburians. Home to many local sporting clubs, this is the place where the community comes together.

Native Grassland Reserve

Immediately west of the Grey Box Forest is 61-hectares of vast, rolling and picturesque native grassland. Calling the grassland home are a variety of wildlife and birds, along with plants, including native kangaroo and wallaby grasses.

The Grey Box Forest

This 288-hectare woodland envelopes Eynesbury not only providing an amazingly rich habitat but an environmental buffer to the outside world. Birds and native animals abound. Little paths and trails meander through the Grey Box which make for a beautiful walk.

Werribee River

The beautiful Werribee River frames the east boundary of Eynesbury and provides residents with a scenic place to relax and enjoy. Flanked by the majestic River Guy and Grey Box trees and walking / riding tracks, it’s also a great place for families to get outside and active. And keep an eye out for the local wildlife who are also frequent visitors of the River.

Werribee River Gorge

Formed from a glacial rift, the Werribee River Gorge and surrounds are nothing short of spectacular. Framed by majestic River Gum and Grey Box trees, the 55-hectare conservation area teams with wildlife including kangaroos and platypuses. Get off the beaten track and there is an amazing waterfall to be found too.

Ornamental Lake

Thriving with native birds and beautifully landscaped with reed islands, the Eynesbury Ornamental Lake is a tranquil location for Eynesburians to rest, play and enjoy.

Greenhill Conservation Reserve

Perched on top of Greenhill is a 10-hectare permanent green wedge. Picturesque and elevated, it affords views of Eynesbury, Melbourne and the distant You Yangs and Macedon Rangers. In the near future, walking tracks and viewing platform are also proposed.

Established Playground Park

What a fantastic adventure playground for the little ones! There’s rock climbing walls, two slides, balancing fun and firemen’s poles – just to name a few. There’s lots to keep little minds and bodies entertained in the playgrounds at Eynesbury.

Men’s Shed

Part of the Australia-wide Men’s Shed movement, this is a place that the men of Eynesbury can gather. It’s all about fostering men’s health, interaction and helping the community. Eynesbury’s Shed even had its own gnome garden.

Everyone at Eynesbury is very proud of the local CFA chapter. Located right near the school and sporting facilities, the Eynesbury CFA puts the community first and helps keep us all safe. Plus, they support so many other community initiatives too.
